Located in Rome, Georgia, Coosa Valley Ragdolls is a small, home-based TICA registered cattery dedicated to raising healthy, well-socialized Ragdoll kittens with the sweet, affectionate personalities that make this breed so special.
Our kittens are raised right alongside our family, receiving daily love, handling, play, and attention from their very first weeks of life. Because every kitten has a personality all their own, we take the time to get to know each baby and help families find the kitten that feels like the right fit for them.

Blue Lynx Mitted | Female Gentle and a little more reserved, Hilda has a sweet, quiet personality. She likes to take everything in before joining the fun, and once she's comfortable, her affectionate side comes out.
This is the best part. Every litter brings completely different little personalities —our brave explorers, quiet observers, lap seekers, troublemakers, and the occasional kitten who believes every meal and every human in the house belong exclusively to them.

Every kitten from Maddie and Charlie's June 2026 litter has officially been reserved. We are so grateful for the wonderful families who have welcomed our babies into their homes.

Kittens are $2,800. A $500 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a kitten once a match has been made.

The Heart Behind Our Kittens
Every Coosa Valley Ragdoll Kitten starts with two very special cats: Maddie and Charlie.
Maddie is our beautiful seal lynx mitted queen and the devoted mama behind our litters. She's affectionate and attentive, and she takes wonderful care of her babies. Her kittens inherit not only her beautiful ragdoll features, but many of the sweet, people-loving qualities we adore about the breed.
Charlie is our handsome seal bicolor king. With his gorgeous blue eyes, soft coat, and classic Ragdoll looks, he's an important part of what makes our babies so beautiful.
They're more than the parents of our kittens. They're beloved members of our family, too.
Meet the Breeder
Hi, I'm Kristen! The breeder behind Coosa Valley Ragdolls here in Rome, Georgia. I'm a wife, mom of three daughters, author, lifelong animal lover, and the person you'll usually find sitting on the floor surrounded by kittens. After spending many years as a stay-at-home mom raising my girls, nurturing little lives comes pretty naturally to me...and apparently I wasn't finished once my kids got bigger.
I fell in love with Ragdolls because they're so much more than beautiful cats. It's their gentle nature, their quirky personalities, and the incredible relationships they develop with their people that really won me over. Coosa Valley Ragdolls grew from that love and my desire to raise kittens on a small, personal scale where I can truly know and care for every baby individually.
When we have a litter, I'm there for it all...from birth, daily weigh-ins and those first wobbly steps to weaning, vet visits, litter training, and watching all the completely different little personalities emerge. I take way too many pictures, worry over them like they're my children, spend an embarrassing amount of time talking to them, and yes, get ridiculously attached. By the time one of my kittens leaves, I know who loves belly rubs, who wants to be carried everywhere, who's the troublemaker, and who would rather curl up beside you.
Outside of the kitten chaos, I'm also a writer and the author of The Hollow Ground Trilogy. I love being creative, spending time with my family, and being at home. Which works out pretty well when your home is full of Ragdolls. Coosa Valley Ragdolls is intentionally small because I never want raising kittens to feel impersonal. These babies are part of our family first, and one of my favorite parts is watching them become part of yours.
